REMEMBER THIS

The next time we’re hit by muslim terrorists remember everyone of the journalists, politicians, pundits, commentators, etc., who misled you about the war against terror.

The media, the vast majority of Democrats, the talking heads that purportedly purvey the news have consistently lied to the American people about the truth behind this war and that will come back to bite them.

It’s up to us to make sure it bites them on the ass.

Got and hour? Do NOT pass on THIS

THERE ARE RULES AND THEY APPLY TO ALL

Whether hezbollah is a terrorist organization or a legitimate government makes no difference. And whether the media likes it or not, facts are facts.

The government of a country is responsible for its civilian population.

Like all of the muslim "warriors," hezbollah ignored this basic right, and like its brothers, hid behind the skirts of women and the toys of children.

As a result of not evacuating their own people from a war zone, some 50-odd civilians ...kept in the AO (area of operations) for the expressed purpose of providing a screen for Hezbollah activities, were killed by Israeli artillery.

Hezbollah is responsible just as all the other muslim "warrior" factions are responsible for the genocide they daily visit on their brother Muslims.

Or ... briefly: they suck.

USS INDIANAPOLIS

Everyone remembers the scene in the movie Jaws when Quint (Robert Shaw) tell Hooper (Richard Dreyfus) and Brody (Roy Schneider) about the USS Indianapolis (CA 35).

Well, Sunday commemorates the sinking of the battleship that “delivered the bomb. The atom bomb.”

It was 61 years ago Sunday when the Indianapolis went down, sunk by Japanese submarine I-58, in the Philippine Sea as it returnbed from delivering the atomic bomb that was eventually dropped on Hiroshima to the island of Tinian. Of the 1,199 crew aboard, only 316 survived.

After the ship was sunk, survivors were not discovered until August 2. One of the interesting notes — and differences between the movie and the reality — is that according to testimony, sharks didn’t take most of the men. The initial explosions and sinking, followed by injuries sustained, dehydration, hypothermia and hallucinations did. Only 56 bodies recovered were thought to have been the victims of sharks.

MEANWHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE

Iran news sources barely mention Lebanon, Syrian media sounds almost American and the usual fringe organizations like Jihad Unspun (who are now calling their ops JUS One news (those boys need to be taken out like you take out a mosquito … swat them without thinking) are raving and ranting. One interesting thing is that — by and large — all mention of Iraq and Afghanistan has pretty well disappeared. Awwwwww. Now’s the time to do something ….

Anyway … here’s how these sorry ass medieval MFers read … well, those that can read. It’s no wonder we just don’t burn the whole Middle East down.

crusader coalition [That’s us — GPJ]

"Our men can hear the screams of their wounded calling for help," one source told Reuters. [ said Abdul proudly. Lov-er-ly — GPJ]

“There were no casualties among the Mujahideen.” [That four times in one new report about Russia’s terrorists. There are never any casualties on the terrorist side — GPJ]

“…killed so far up to 410 people, mostly children and civilians …” [the numbers — across the board — are so incredibly disparate that they have to be made up — GPJ]

“…bombardment of innocent civilians …” [ etcetera — GPJ]

“No ceasefire due to U.S. intransigence …” [etcetera — GPJ]

“Aljazeera.com website is currently undergoing maintenance_and will be online again in a few minutes time.” [this was a surprise. I will be checking back and keeping my fingers crossed — GPJ]

“…the barbaric Israeli aggression …” [etcetera — GPJ

“Hizbollah, which has fired rockets into "Israel"” [note quotation marks around Israel — GPJ]

It’d make an interesting study if it wasn’t as predictable as our media.

NEW WAR CRIME LAW

The quote unquote mainstream media is a joke. Here they’ve got Israel blowing the crap out of Hezbollah in Lebanon and killing civilians like they’re ants at a picnic, and these bastards haven’t got an f-----g thing to say about it.

Can you imagine … just imagine … if we did what the Israelis are doing?

For starters we probably wouldn’t have the casualties we have, because we’d have blown the piss out of anyone who decided they’d like to stay in a town we wanted.

Then, these asinine talking heads (and I don’t see any riding with the Israelis … you just know there’s a pissed off Jewish paratrooper going, “Oh, as soon as we take fire this goyim is getting one in the back of the head.”) would have every American soldier who killed ANYbody publicly flayed in the media without a SCENT of innocent-until-proven-guilty.

Hell, CNN already admitted that some of its footage was media managed by Hezbollah. I think the western Arabic numbers spray painted above the coffins … rather than the Indian-based Arabic numbers used in Lebanon … especially by the primeval type MFers who want to die for 72 virgins (well, assuming they can even write) … was a dead — no pun — giveaway. (But that may just be me).

Well, I guess there’s a bright lining to every cloud. The media is so busy not writing about Israel-Lebanon and the end of the Middle East, that they’ve forgotten about our people in Iraq and Afghanistan for now. That sigh of relief you hear is every GI, Grunt, Swabbie and Airman in the theaters exhaling before they squeeze the trigger.

There ought to be a new law enforced at any war crimes trials held from now on. If your philosophical, social, civil and political ideals are derived from anything more than — oh let’s say 20 years old — we get to kill you in any manner that is prolongingly painful. We also get to draw-and-quarter anyone who only reports one side of a story.

Want to be medieval? Then die that way. Wanna lie by omission, then enjoy the stretch before everything rips.

Can I get a “Hear, hear?”

TALK ABOUT FORGOTTEN SOLDIERS

I know we all had a rough time coming home after Nam, but the guys that served in the Korean War came home to total apathy. Here’s to all who came home, and all who didn’t.

July 27, 1953 — The Korean War armistice is signed at Panmunjon, Korea; the ceasefire went into effect at 10:00 p.m. (2200)

(As a frame of reference it’s 0920 in Seoul as I write this … you figure out what day!)

MASTER DIVER CARL BRASHEARS DIES

(For those of you living in a closet, Brashears was the first Black man to become a Navy diver. His story was brought to the movies in a very good portrayal by Cuba Gooding (with a bit of help from Robert DeNiro).

The following is directly from Chief of Naval Operations Public Affairs.

WASHINGTON (NNS)

"Every Sailor in our Navy joins me today in mourning the death of Master Chief Boatswain’s Mate (Master Diver) Carl M. Brashear, as true an American hero as ever lived. We extend to his family our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies.

"It would be easy in remembering his incredible life to focus on one aspect or another - his humble, yet proud, beginnings in rural Kentucky; the discrimination he suffered at the hands of racist superiors and colleagues; the list of all the “firsts” he accomplished in the dangerous world of Navy diving; the raw, physical courage he exhibited in overcoming what would be for many a debilitating injury.

"But focusing only on such things would be shortsighted. For in doing so we obscure from history and from our heritage the real greatness of the man. We must - as he always did - look at the whole, not at the parts.

"Carl Brashear wasn’t just a trailblazing African-American. He wasn’t just a superb and skilled diver. He was a good husband and father...a patriot...a leader. He was a friend who friends cherished, and a Sailor who Sailors admired. He represented in his poise and in his character something larger and more dignified than the trappings of military rank and position, no matter how hard-earned they proved to be.

"Put simply, Carl Brashear was the very best of men. He was living proof that, in a world which can at times be unfair and uncompromising, persistence and sheer determination trumps all. He once recalled wryly during an interview that, as a chief petty officer dive instructor, his young students bemoaned the fact that Brashear simply “had no quitting sense.” He was as tough on them as he was on himself.

"And that, I believe, is his greatest legacy - the one thing we ought never to forget about this remarkable naval hero. He leaves behind many terrific and improbable accomplishments, but the greatest is his example of toughness and leadership. It says all we really need to know about him.

"Carl Brashear made us all better, and we - as a Navy and as a nation - are going to miss him sorely. "

All charges against Spc. Nathan Lynn, 21, of South Williamsport, Pa., a Pennsylvania National Guardsman accused of killing an unarmed Iraq civilian near Ramadi, were dropped because the court martial found that the soldier had reason to believe the man had a weapon.

Another soldier, Sgt. Milton Ortiz Jr., 36, of Islip, N.Y., still faces one count of obstructing justice for allegedly conspiring with another soldier to put an AK-47 near the Iraqi's body.

Too bad it won’t get more than a buried-on-the-back-page mention — if anything at all.

BRIGITTE GABRIEL

Brigitte Gabriel is a Lebanese Christian who has consistently and without let up railed against jihadist and the Syrian, Iranian and Palestinian (SIP) coalition that turned her country into a disaster area over the past quarter-century.

Liberals — especially the ones who know nothing about Lebanon — can’t stand her, and she regularly receives death threats from those “moderate” muslims jihadist we hear so much about. Both situations, in my book, that are recommendations of her fervor and truthfulness.

She puts forth some pointed and eloquent arguments about the situation, including why Israel needs to destroy the stranglehold of violence the SIP has on Lebanon. She has also been a tireless worker in pointing out the threats jihadists in the US — including those subversives who work for the likes of the Justice Department and the FBI — pose to our way of life. You can find more about her and her organization at American Congress for Truth .

ISRAEL, JEWS, FRIENDS, FOES, ETC.

Let’s get a few facts straight before I rant. There isn’t any oil in Israel and they’re our allies. Now, personally, I’ve always been fond of the Moroccans, and I’ve always wanted to go to Libya, and of course the Emirates … but … well, when push comes to shove, the Israelis are pretty much our guys. It may be a Crips/Bloods/together-against-the-cops relationship some times, but there it is.

They’ve screwed us a few times, but since Jimmy Carter literally sacrificed all our humintel assets in the Middle East, we’ve pretty much had to depend on the Israelis.

Second point. The Israelis have some serious cojones, on top of which they can kick the crap out of any non-Israeli civilization in the neighborhood. They have and they will. Especially when the shit hits the fan.

Now. There never was a Palestine. Ever.

I’d like to see the “Palestinians” get a place to lay their heads, but beyond that I’m not getting unduly worked up about it. There was never an Israel until 1949, but they fought, they won, and have every bit of right to what they won as do we (we, being Americans). There was never an America until 1776 and we slaughtered millions of people to get what we have today. It’s my ball, you don’t like the rules, go away.

Now. By and large, conservatives aren’t thrilled with the Jews (and don’t say anything stupid. By “the Jews” I mean the Israelis). That said … by and large the only people who support the Jews are the conservatives.

As Israel came under attack last week, the producer of a talk show on a major Washington D.C. radio station declared that because the existence of Israel was bringing us to the brink of nuclear war, he could no longer support Israel’s right to exist (this from a left-wing Jew). The stupidity inherent in this statement would get my Down Syndrome brother fired if he uttered it, but …

Around the same time, the Website Daily Kos, which is a power in the Democratic Party and is spearheading the campaign to unseat JoeLieberman WHO THE DEMS RAN FOR VP, posted an item headed, “Imagine a world without Israel.” The subhead read, “Or is that not allowed?”

That’s the lovely kinda hate-mongering conservatives get accused of all the time. But it’s okay in a rag like WAPO’s, or the Times’.

Speaking of … The cover of WAPO’s magazine last Sunday was headlined, “Is the Israel Lobby Too Powerful?”

If that appeared on Fox TV, it’d be … well, it’d be a headline in WAPO along with all the usual anti-Bush sentiments (Damn. You didn’t KNOW that this is all George Bush’s fault? Where ya been?).

The point of all this is … it’s real easy to see who the enemy is … all you gotta do is read.

I’VE SO HAD IT WITH WAPO AND THE TIMES

I guess there’s justice in the world - of a sort.

The Times — the newspaper that thinks its better to kill Americans than monitor terrorists — has a lay off coming. Apparently the paper is closing a plant in Jersey and will eventually lay off over 1,000 workers.

I can only HOPE at least one of them is a journalist. Unfortunately you just KNOW it’s going to be working stiffs who get the axe, while the illiterati walk away unscathed.

As for WAPO … those assholes are watching the Middle East — or as I prefer calling it, North Africa — explode and implode and what are they worried about?

President Bush having “personally” stonewalled the investigation into legal wire tapping that was saving American lives.

Why anybody would buy that rag is beyond me, but then again, it’s probably the same people who got us in this shit stink back in the 70s. Liberals and Democrats.

Apparently only Republicans and conservatives learn from history. (Anybody wanna debate this?)

Ah, gimme another Billy Beer.

Old Guys Rule

Old Guy T-shirt, originally uploaded by gpj631.

AND SHIT IT IS

With the Middle East about to go up in flames once again, what is the US media concerned most about?

The fact that President Bush “cursed” during the G-8 summit while mic-ed up.

The president and UK Prime Minister Tony Blair were discussing Syria’s roll in the latest skirmish in the terrorist war when Bush commented to Blair, “See the irony is what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit and it’s over.”

The media then went on to spend the past two days talking about President Bush’s comment. Adding ally Blair’s name to the headlines about the most recent, er, shit storm, just reinforces the apolitical political "objectivity" of the Fourth Estate.

Ah, as Rome burns, the media continues to fiddle.

Let’s take up as much time about this terrible occurrence as possible. After all, it’s certainly newsworthy.

HONOR THIS …

Courtesy of the Patriot Post.

"[M]uch of the media treats statements by terrorists and their supporters as true and any denials of wrongdoing by American troops as false and 'a coverup.' These are the same liberal media people who claim to be 'honoring our troops' when they hype every casualty and make a big production of each landmark death, such as the 1000th American killed in Iraq and then the 2000th... We all need to understand the fraudulence of the claim that these media liberals who have been against the military for decades and who have missed no opportunity to smear the military in Iraq are now in the forefront of 'honoring' our troops by rubbing our noses in their deaths, day in and day out. Troops who have won medals for bravery in battle—including one soldier who won a Congressional Medal of Honor at the cost of his life—go unmentioned in most of the mainstream media that is focused on our troops as casualties that they can exploit... Every newspaper and every television commentator has a right to criticize any aspect of the war in Iraq or anywhere else. But when they claim to be reporting the news, that does not mean filtering out whatever goes against their editorial views and hyping unsubstantiated claims that discredit the troops." —Thomas Sowell

LEBANON, HEZBOLLAH, ETC., - A SCENARIO

Well I guess we actually owe a thanks to the idiots in Hezbollah for pissing off the Israelis and making the media pay attention to their headline pets, the Israelis, as the war clouds once again brew in the Middle East.

Best case scenario: the jihadists decap the Israeli prisoners, the Israelis blow the crap out of Lebanon and everything that breathes within its borders (after telling the civilians to get out of Dodge, of course), then shoot down a couple of Syrian Migs who approached just because the Israelis can.

Then the Israelis figure, “ah, why not” and pull the plug on the Iran reactor on GP and because they’re going for a nuclear trifecta (they did Iraq, they’ll do Iran and they’ll throw in Damascus for free).

Meanwhile the media who will be so f-----g torn between “reporting” what’s happening and trying not to blame Israel for any of it, will figure out that it’s President Bush’s fault.

Bush — who’s had it with the media, the Middle East, the Russians, French, North Koreans, Indians and Pakistanis — will say “ah, why not” and launch into North Korea, decimating the starving population and thereby leaving enough food for the remaining North Koreans.
They, in turn, will unite with South Korea, making the peninsula safe for all.

With a little prodding he’ll tell the Pakis to hit the Indians and get them to blow each other’s population to tenths thereby solving that problem and reuniting Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Kashmir.

He’ll then carpet bomb Afghanistan for 30 consecutive days only because there would be some Biblical fallout if he did it for 40, and tell all the non-combatants in contested areas in Iraq to get out of Dodge, of course and carpet bomb those sections.

He’ll then declare English an official language, ban Islamic centers for being vermin ridden.

The press and liberals will be so busy running around in circles trying to start fires they can put out, that before anyone knows it, it’ll be election time again and everyone who’s supposed to be dead is.

Now, that my friends, is a scenario to pray for.

WIDDERSHINS AND MEDIA HISTRIONICS

Bowing to assholes on the left as well as media histrionics (and treasonists), urban illiterati regurgitating arguments as specious as their heritage, and other human forms of lowest orders, the Bush government has pulled a widdershins and opted to give terrorist — terrorists mind you — cover under the acts of the Geneva Convention.

So the next time they hack someone’s head off, blow up innocents shopping and sleeping, execute people, etc., these jihadist jackasses of the Muslim persuasion are covered by something they don’t subscribe to.

Logical Polemics

“The First Amendment does not mean Times editor Bill Keller could kidnap a child and issue his ransom demands from The New York Times editorial page. He could not order a contract killing on the op-ed page. Nor can he take out a contract killing on Americans with a Page One story on a secret government program being used to track terrorists who are trying to kill Americans." — Ann Coulter

MAYBE SOMEONE HAS A BRAIN

Managing editor Paul Steiger of the Wall Street Journal and executive editor Leonard Downie Jr. of the Washington Post both declined to be part of last weekend’s joint Op-Ed piece, which defended the [f-----g criminal] publication of stories about the US secret TERRORIST bank monitoring program.

The word terrorist is in caps because most publications omit it entirely … in the interest of truth, justice and … oh…they can’t say that anymore either.

SAD REALITY IN THE FUNNY PAGES

“You may think you have done a public service, but you have gravely endangered the lives of my soldiers and all other soldiers and innocent Iraqis here. Next time I hear that familiar explosion — or next time I feel it — I will wonder whether we could have stopped that bomb had you not instructed terrorists how to evade our financial surveillance.” —Army Lt. Tom Cotton, in Baghdad in a letter to the NYT (New York Terrorist, er, Times)

WHEN IS A TERRORIST NOT A TERRORIST?

“The Supreme Court ruled 5-3 ... that the military tribunals used to try prisoners at Guantanamo Bay were both unconstitutional and illegal under the Geneva Conventions. The court made some sense with its constitutional argument, but none at all when it applied the Geneva Conventions to al-Qaida. The court declared that Guantanamo Bay detainees could be tried in military tribunals, but only in ones explicitly authorized by Congress. President Bush could work with Congress to create a tribunal that would pass Supreme Court review, except that the court seems to have ruled that out by applying the Geneva Conventions to Guantanamo detainees ...

The Geneva Conventions intentionally exclude people who operate outside the rules of warfare, which includes al-Qaida terrorists. Yet the court applied the conventions to al-Qaida operative Salim Ahmed Hamdan anyway, arguing absurdly that a provision written to cover civil wars—armed conflicts 'not of an international character' — somehow covered the War on Terror, plainly a conflict of an international character.

If the Geneva Conventions apply to captured terrorists, as the court ruled, then our ability to track these enemies is severely handicapped, as we will be unable to use coercive measures to make them talk... Also, by offering their protections only to combatants who abide by the rules of war, the conventions are supposed to encourage non-conventional combatants to follow the rules. The court, by extending convention protections to terrorists who routinely emerge from the shadows to slaughter innocent civilians before slinking back to their caves, has eliminated whatever incentive to civilized behavior the conventions might have offered.” —New Hampshire Union Leader (via the Patriot Post).
