NEWS FROM THE WORLD OF MEDIA

Such that it is …

Judith Regan, the editor who was running with the If I Did It OJ confessionary tale, was canned by Rupert Murdoch. The original word was simply that, but spinners then let out that it had to do with anti-Semitic remarks she made in a phone conversation. Naturally, the rest of the press that is following this story could give a shit less WHAT she says. Anti-Semitism only counts as a negative if you’re a member of that most hard-pressed of species: the white, conservative male.

Keith “Jock Sniffer” Olberman is looking for something like a $3 million raise from MS-NBC. Keith really isn’t that good, preferring to deal in simplistic, un-thought-out liberal anti-American ravings rather than reality. But, hey, with everyone telling him how great he is, he’s come to believe it. Now if he’ll only hold out long enough to get canned.

There’s other stuff, but it’s so insider that it’ll be about as interesting to recount as watching … well, Keith Olberman.

Th-th-th-th-that's All, Folks.
