NEW DST SCREWS UP TIDE TABLES

Daylight Savings Time begins early this year — March 11 at 0200 — and is part of an effort by the US Congress to save energy.

Unrealized ramification for us: tide tables will be off by one hour from March 11 until the old DST date (April 8).

The Law of Unforseen Consequences strikes again.
