LA TIMES SCUM

Here’s a clip from an LA Times story. Read the clip and guess what the story is about.

“U.S. supervision of Abu Ghraib, which was one of Iraq's most notorious prisons during Hussein's rule, was phased out after a 2004 scandal in which it was revealed that U.S. soldiers had abused and humiliated Iraqi detainees. Photographs depicting naked prisoners forced into demeaning poses sparked outrage and anti-U.S. sentiment throughout the Middle East.”

Got it? So it's about ....?

WRONG!

It’s about the arrest of the camp commander of Camp Cropper on a bunch of — on face value of the reportage— quite serious charges.

Since the above paragraph has absolutely nothing to do with the actual story other than Abu Ghraib is another prison I have to wonder about what the story is reporting. Apparently that doesn;t disturb the asshole editors and writers at the LAT.

Just more garbage from the Mainstream Media — or as we call it around here “The Flying F--ks of the Fourth Estate.”

Bomb Iran

SOUND FAMILIAR?

America goes to war.

Country backs soldiers.

Country gets tired when war exceeds its 15 minutes of media time.

Country forgets images of WTC jumpers and collapse of same.

Politicians get tired of having to explain why they are now voting against something they voted for.

Power bloc changes.

Soldiers get spit on by everybody — literally and figuratively.

Politicians change mind “for real.”

US forced to pull out of war.

Anybody who helped US gets the — literal — axe.

Evacuation free-for-all starts.

Media says “we told you so.”

Country recedes into Dark Ages.

Terrorists encouraged to “play it again, Sam.”

America goes to war.

Bomb Iran

Well, I may not have the voice of Senator McCain, but I sure do like his sense of humor. And he does like the Beach Boys too.

Bomb, bomb,bomb, bomb, bomb, Iran

Go get 'em Senator McCain.

Nuke Iran.

CHARGE PELOSI

For what? For interfering with negotiations with a terrorist stae, namely Syria. The Logan Act, which has been on the books since 1799, punishes as a crime any act which arises from an “interference of individual citizens in the negotiations of our executive with foreign governments.”

What did she do? Tried to legally undermine an appointed Secretary of State, is trying to usurp the Constitution by mandating what a president can do (where are all you First and Second Amendment believers now?) and lied to one foreign head (Assad) about what another (Olmert) told her for starters.

Hell even John Kerry "double negative" supported her. He said she had a right to go because he went to then-North Viet Nam in 1970 (another dirtbag we're rid of).

Either that or laugh hysterically any time she or any of her supporters speak about anything.

Nazi Nan is an embarrassment to American democracy.

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEKEND

Ask the American Indian what the result of uncontrolled immigration is.

If it's okay to have BET (Black Entertainment Network), how come it's not okay to have a WET (White Entertainment Network)?
[Of course, WET as an acronym leaves quite a bit to be desired, but you do get my point I would hope]

Nuke Iran ... and have a good weekend.

OOPS!

Well, fortunately, I'm proven wrong about The Washington Post ... at least this time.

Below, an editorial about San Fran Nan and how her arrogance is already coming back to bite her on the ass.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) offered an excellent demonstration [last week] of why members of Congress should not attempt to supplant the secretary of state when traveling abroad. After a meeting with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad in Damascus, Ms. Pelosi announced that she had delivered a message from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that ‘Israel was ready to engage in peace talks’ with Syria. What’s more, she added, Mr. Assad was ready to ‘resume the peace process’ as well... Only one problem: The Israeli prime minister entrusted Ms. Pelosi with no such message. ‘What was communicated to the U.S. House Speaker does not contain any change in the policies of Israel,’ said a statement quickly issued by the prime minister’s office. In fact, Mr. Olmert told Ms. Pelosi that ‘a number of Senate and House members who recently visited Damascus received the impression that despite the declarations of Bashar Assad, there is no change in the position of his country regarding a possible peace process with Israel.’ In other words, Ms. Pelosi not only misrepresented Israel’s position but was virtually alone in failing to discern that Mr.Assad’s words were mere propaganda... The really striking development here is the attempt by a Democratic congressional leader to substitute her own foreign policy for that of a sitting Republican president. Two weeks ago Ms. Pelosi rammed legislation through the House of Representatives that would strip Mr.Bush of his authority as commander in chief to manage troop movements in Iraq. Now she is attempting to introduce a new Middle East policy that directly conflicts with that of the president. We have found much to criticize in Mr. Bush’s military strategy and regional diplomacy. But Ms. Pelosi’s attempt to establish a shadow presidency is not only counterproductive, it is foolish.” —The Washington Post

A MOMENT OF SILENCE

April 10, 1963.

During diving tests, the USS Thresher (SSN 593) was lost with all hands (112 crew and 12 civilians) east of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Wikipedia has a thorough piece on the tragedy with a listing of all hands lost.

The Thresher began her last test dive to 1300 feet at 0747, leveled off at 1000 feet at 0825. It is believed a pipe joint failed, and the pressurized water froze preventing blowing of the ballast tanks and closing down the sub’s reactor. The last report from Lt. Commander John Wesley Harvey is initiated at 0917. At 0918 a sound, interpreted as an implosion at somewhere between 1300 and 2000 feet deep, is picked up by surface support ships.

Thresher’s remains were eventually located on the sea floor at 8400 feet in six major sections.

HOW TERRORISTS SEE THIS WEEK'S EVENTS

“However, this week [Congress, Pelosi in Syria, Blair folding to the Iranians] we have proven to the Arab world, to the Arabic dictators who show to their people using their television and media, that, look, the West is cowering one after the other. Britain is no longer the power it used to be. America is no longer the power it used to be. The West is divided.” — Brigitte Gabriel … a radio Q&A April 4 (and 5) 2007.

GOD ALMIGHTY … IS ANYONE LEFT WHO’S SANE?

I actually spent time (see below) writing about the fat dike from Long Island and the drunk hooker-chaser from LA … boy was that a waste of band width.

Michael Jackson accompanied by his daughter is on TV walking through an airport smiling.

Trouble was, he made the daughter wear a burka headdress. Honest! He’s smiling and waving as this is happening.

Can you imagine the damage this is doing to a poor f-----g nine-year old girl?

Here’s what I have to say to Streisand, Sheen, Fonda, O’Donnell, Penn and all the rest of the people who’s salaries we pay and who have the f-----g audacity to say ANYTHING about the world politic.

Until you have the balls to say that OJ killed his wife, that Michael Jackson is a child molester, that all the other little dirty secrets you keep are aberrations …STFU.

Your opinions are worth less than your assholes.

Bomb Iran.

ON TREASON AND TRAITORS

And let's not try to justify these despicable wastes of useful oxygen by any other name.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.” — Marcus Tullius Cicero

GIVING DIKES AND DRUNKS A BAD NAME

Rosie O'Donnell and Charlie Sheen.

Lesbians of all ilk spent a lot of time getting to where nobody cares if they're lesbians, and now O'Donnell opens her uncouth trap and puts the word "dike" back on the pejorative modifying adjective list.

As for Sheen ... Charlie, you're a funny guy, but not exactly a rocket scientist (and I mean no slur to rocket scientists). Go back to drinking, you were funnier then; now you sound like a clown.

And it's not just me that thinks Fatso is anti-American ... Investor's Business Daily compared her to Tokyo Rose of WW II traitorous activities. Nothing like two-facing it in time of war

Ramadi Rosie ... That works. Dumb bitch.

Other News on the Two-faced Front

This from Tim Russert re the Dems (and Russert isn't someone I quote often):

“The House voted for funding for the war with a date certain, March of ‘08, to begin a withdrawal of U.S. troops. But in that bill was $20 billion of so-called pork, money for cricket infestation, tours of the Capitol, security at the National Convention, peanut crops. Why would the Democrats put that kind of money in such a serious bill?”

Duh.

It's Not, Not, Not Called Standing and Staying

From Big Byrd's Imaginary Dictionary File

“With passage of this bill, the Senate sends a clear message to the president that we must take the war in Iraq in a new direction. Setting a goal for getting most of our troops out is not—not, not—cutting and running.” —Sen. Robert Byrd

KILL 'EM ALL LET ALLAH SORT THEM OUT

Do you know that a guy down in Georgia who had the "... let Allah sort 'em out" bumper sticker on his pickup truck, had his name, license number and address listed on an American jihadi Website with a not-so-subtle suggestion that it wouldn't be a bad idea if someone offed him?

You didn't read THAT in the leftwing press, did you? Naturally, no f-----g jihadist was prosecuted for a civil rights violation, although the name and number -- long since all over cyberspace -- was removed from the site.

If I suggested that every one of you ought to ...

Anyway ... from my friends at the American Congress for Truth on the imam-scum-led Iranians:

"You may have noticed that, every time the United States leaves a war unfinished, we end up having to deal with the same bad people whether they are the North Koreans, the Iranians, or, in the case of Iraq, the return in 2003 after the botched victory in 1991. The only purpose of war is to leave one's enemies utterly without the will to repeat their bad behavior. By contrast, we have excellent relations with Japan and Germany."

Like I keep saying ... Nuke Iran.
