Mayor Bloomberg, a once — in this writer's opinion — respected mayor is showing all the signs of turning into a moronic liberal everyday pol.

His comment about the rescuers "not asking what religion" the people they were rescuing were, meant as a justification for allowing a mosque at GZ is facetious, arrogant, ignorant and supercillious.

The fact remains: with over 100 mosques in NYC, why one at GZ where ALL — mayor Bloomberg you asshole — the perpetrators were mosque-going, pray-to-mecca murderers?

Okay ... you want to build a mosque at Ground Zero to demonstrate how nice you no-one's-sure-which-side-you're-on MFers are and how much you want to show your respect for the fallen?

Let's build a synagogue in Mecca, a cathedral in Medina, a Playboy Club in Riyadh and let's put a gah-damn Christ of the Andes-size Star of David atop the Tuwaiq escarpment FIRST.
