Meanwhile, US forces and Iraqi troops have been conducting raid after raid based on intel obtained after the Zawahri hit.
While the GIs and Grunts put their lives on the line, the good ol’ media goes about its usual, placing baby body counts in every story, reiterating the “guilty until proven innocent” tales of the Haditha “massacre,” which as more and more info comes in is seeming less and less likely to have occurred (naturally, you’ll not read about that) … and … the beat goes on.
