Fidel Castro, who is becoming a reverse sort of Francisco Franco of the 21st Century as rumors of impending death constantly surface (`Okay, I guess I ought to explain that to some of you. Saturday Night Live, in its early days, always included a "Francisco Franco is still dead" report in their weekly news segment. Franco was the former Spanish dictator who ... hmmmm? I guess if I have to explain it I shouldn't use it. Never mind.)
Anyway ... Castro calls a Clinton-Obama ticket "invincible."
I'm sure liberals think that's great, but before you get too ecstatic about it, I think you ought to wait until the Cuban people can openly voice their own opinions about the worth of the opinion of their supreme leader. I mean he's made Cuba such a friggin' economic powerhouse, hasn't he?
Nuke Iran
( An August 30 add on: You might notice that the news item about this disappeared from the face of the earth - GPJ)
