The 2008 Vodafone-McLaren-Mercedes MP4-23 was unveiled in Stuttgart recently. It was accompanied by team driver Lewis Hamilton (a sort of 23rd birthday present for him) and his new teammate, Heikki Kovalainen. Test drivers Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffet also attended the unveiling with officials of the team, Mercedes, and Mercedes workers. The new car gets it first road tests in Spain starting January 9. It will test for five race days.
