As those of you've read this blog may have guessed, I've never had a moral reservations about starting or waging war. However.
While this sentiment may be far too late ... the US Government has NO business whatsoever sending single parents into war zones. That is unmitigated bull shit.
Just because we have a country in which the younger citizenry doesn't find military service an honorable calling, doesn't mean we have to send parents to war.
Start the draft and get those 21 year olds still living at home out to do something for someone else. Jeez. Everybody has to pay a price for freedom, no matter how dire.
Had to get that out of my system.
