HOW NOT TO MAKE MONEY

Two women named Wilson apparently wrote the song Barracuda used by at the RNC during the intro of Gov. Palin. Apparently they're not Republicans and have sued for the McCain/Palin campaign to cease and desist using the song because they weren't asked for permission and had they been, wouldn't have given it.

I've never heard of the two (although with that last name, perhaps they're kids of one of the Beach Boys), and here was a chance for them to get known by, oh, say, at least half the voting public who didn't know them prior ... Instead they opted out of cashing checks, obviously following the traditional economic philosophy of the Democratic Party.

Smart financial move girls. Then again, like most in Hollywood, apparently you don't need the dinero, unlike all the rest of us.

We won't see you at the ObB concession party, either, because I assume — admittedly, I'm not a music maven, so I may be wrong here — that was your 15 minutes.
