Looks like the MSM coronation/cannonization fest of Obama is finally backfiring on him, because the rank-and-file of America (i.e., us low-life, we-can't-possibly-understand-the big-picture folks) are sick of the manipulation.
He buys a half hour of prime time TV, and the media trumpets days about it. Only this morning I saw the first piece noting he got a bargain deal for it.
They've tried to get the Troopergate thingee going, but no one cares if Palin used any influence to get a state trooper — who Tasered his nine-year-old son — fired, so that's dying on the vine.
They've told us, ad nauseam, that Obama's former friendship with a Rogue's Gallery of characters has no bearing, but again they're being proven wrong. We — if nothing else — like to think that our leaders are men of honor (well, apparently that doesn't hold true with all Democrats, but I'm sure it does with lots of them).
Finally, the ACORN fraudulent voter scandal is getting noticed — apparently it's been okay to register dead people in Illinois, Obama's home state for a while, but, c'mon!
The Indiana Obama campaign has been issued a cease-and-desist order for illegally using a proprietary mailing list of — get this — the National Shooting Sports Foundation to mail campaign literature.
And lastly: it's amazing how — overnight — double-digit polls showing Obama ahead are all of a sudden barely breaking the error (i.e., + or -) mark. I spotted a four-percent-lead headline this a.m.
Now it gets interesting.
