A virtually unknown politician — one who's been in the "biz" but two years or so — decides to become presidents and raises in excess of $750 million dollars, and the only thing anybody is saying is that he raised more than both candidates in the election before (Bush-Kerry).
Am I alone in wondering where all this cash came from?

I can tell you exactly where it came from. The hundreds of thousands of Americans who would rather take on a second mortgage, hock everything they own or use their children's college funds to help finance a "Virtually unknown politician", then take the chance that another inept Republican get elected and hammer the final nails into our collective coffin that the Bush administration started building 8 years ago.
That's where the money came from Charlie Brown.
A highly unlikely scenario ... nobody could possibly be that idiotic. And if so why were they fundraising overseas and asking to see passports?
