Shortly after midnight on January 30, 1968, the combined North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong guerilla forces launched an all out offensive against American and ARVN troops throughout Viet Nam.
Although a military disaster for the NVA and VC, the idiots back here in the states would turn it into the biggest PR coup ever conceived and perpetrated.
Ah, well.
I wasn't there (didn't get in-country until August and the Tet Offensive Campaign officially ended in July), but I know a lot of you out there were.
So here's to the 41st anniversary of the military disaster that won a war.
