The Reverend Al "Screw the First Amendment, Whitey" Sharpton has successfully - once again - managed to get everyone to apologize for being racist over something that wasn't racist to start with.
It never occured to me that the artists drawing that cartoon might possibly have been speaking about our president. Not once. Call me naive, stupid or insensitive, but in 2009, that was never a possibility ... until Al brought it up.
Nonetheless, white Libbies everywhere are falling over themselves mea culpa-ing ... not a single MSM outlet even offered the infinite monkey theorem in rebuttal, which more adequately and appropriately explains the logic behind the toon.
President Obama, right or wrong, signed this ridiculous bill. The Senate and congress wriote it. Ergo ..... duh!
Well, I'm sure the artist is happy financially for all the attention, but as usual, Sharpton did absolutely nothing to address racism (blatant or latent), instead he continues his pig-in-a-mud-wallow racist routine accomplishing zippo.
(Oh, my God. Did he just call all Black people muddy pigs?!? Get Al over here, NOW!).
(BTW: There actually is a mathematical solution for the infinite monkey theorem. Go HERE to play with it, if you're of a mathematical bent.)
Ah well ...
[UPDATE 21 Feb: Apparently the NAACP hasn't heard about the First Amendment. They've called for the cartoonist's firing and have threatened to "go national" if he isn't canned. Idiots. Isn't that kinda like the KKK threatening to go national if a local paper doesn't fire a Black columnist? No? What's the difference? ]
