I've said that I would hold back any criticism of President Obama for the traditional 100 days (which I shortened to March 17, St. Patrick's Day), but it's becoming increasingly difficult to allow the man to show some gumption while his entire support system of Uberlib Dems fight to inject as much pork into the bailout as possible, and continue to make a lie of bipartisanship or demonstrate any true sense of concern regarding fixing our country's economy.
I'm trying ...but it's reeeeeeal hard to keep my lips buttoned.
I will say this: Pay attention to who makes all the noise in the upcoming days regarding the 600-plus pages of the no-one-has-read-it-all-but-voted-for-it-anyway $800 billion bailout/handout/Federalization of your private life bill.
Mixed along with a total lack of military-industrial complex funding that portend the usual Democratic dismantling of a strong military, it's — to say the least — disconcerting to anyone who has any interest in the underpinnings of the tenets of our founding fathers (who, despite historical recidivism, got it right the first time).
(By the way ... with the exception of some extraordinary golden parachutes to some individuals, the hue and cry of the administration and its mouthpieces regarding bonuses on Wall Street is obfuscation of the basest kind. The culprits behind the fall — completely caused by the government-run corruption in the Fannies — lie within the present power structure. But when truth is inconvenient, find scapegoats. Just like the Nazis, Stalinists, and every other personality cult has.)
They are enemies of the state and are out to wrest your civil liberties away.
This isn't right wing paranoia. All you have to do is read.
If you don't, you have no one to blame save yourself.
