HARD CORE

"South Korean Go Mi Sun and Kim Jae Soo scored the first ever hat trick in the Himalayan mountaineering in Nepal by successfully scaling three major 8000 meter ["major" and "8000 meters" is redundant! — GPJ] peaks in a single season.

"This feat was achieved at 4.10 pm on 9 June 2009 with their successful ascent of 8163m high Mt. Dhaulagiri. Their other two summits included Mt. Makalu on 30 April and Mt. Kangchenjunga on 19 May."

(NOTE: This was originally titled "Hard Core Gals," but I'm not sure whether Kim Jae Soo is a female or not. Regardless. Great high-altitude accomplishment.)
