It was 64 years ago today that the Imperial Empire of Japan officially capitulated and signed off of its surrender.
Needless to say the entire war was only able to be settled when we spoke to the sons of the Rising Sun, thereby boring them to death.
Absolutely kicking their ever lovin' asses in combat and logistics had absolutely nothing to do with ending World War II.
That's just like the war on terrorism!
We'll "dialogue" terrorism to death rather than kill, wallboard, ballboard, waterboard, and whatever-board every civilian-killing MFer we can get our hands on. And let's NOT forget the good ol' nuclear option.
