VETERAN'S DAY

In a way, this has as much to do with Veteran's day as anything else.

Seems Russia’s famed arms designer, Mikhail Kalashnikov, turned 90 yesterday.

"Lt. Gen. Kalashnikov, twice Hero of Socialist Labor, winner of the Stalin and Lenin awards and holder of the Order of Andrew the First Called, thinks that his best creation, the Kalashnikov submachine gun, won the worldwide recognition thanks to the domestic arms industry. Up to 100 million people in 55 countries are using the Kalashnikov, a weapon put on the Guinness Book of Records for its popularity."

Popularity? No shit, as anyone who has been shot at by one can tell you, the AK is reeeeeal popular.

Anyway ... the entire story HERE

And Happy veteran's Day to all of us out there.
