Consider this: the people of the state of Arizona decide they want to enforce already existent Federal law regarding illegal immigration.
The response?
The FEDERAL government sues the state of Arizona.
And get THIS — which I KNOW you didn't hear anywhere — the country of Mexico filed an amicus curiae brief (friend of the court brief) supporting the Obama/Holder vs. Arizona suit ... and a frigging Federal judge accepted it!!!
So, we have the government that is supposed to be representing the people of Arizona, suing them for daring to want to enforce a Federal law, and we have a FEDERAL judge accepting a friend of the court brief from the country of Mexico which the Federal law is theoretically aimed at (being they're the ONLY country on our southern border!).
You CANNOT make this shit up.
