According to the Afghan Islamic Press, the deposed leader of Afghanistan and all-round Taliban whack job Mulla Muhammad Omar, called for celebrating the start of the Muslim holy days by blowing up Americans. This was in response to an overture by Afghan President Hamid Karzai to have a chat.
Ya gotta’ love a religion with no leader, and followers who take literal translations of century-old texts and feed them to illiterate people who believe that the local shepherd is a viable aqueduct for the word of God.
I know some Americans have “issues” with the religious right, but they seem like screaming, wide-eyed liberals compared to these loonies. Oh well.
