The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for misuse of the word "American" in its name.
Here’s one coming to you late … I hope you didn’t donate to the ACLU for Christmas (can I say Christmas and ACLU in the same sentence?). Back in early December the ACLU filed a law suit against former CIA director George Tenet challenging the CIA's abduction of a foreign national for detention and interrogation in secret jails outside the U.S.
"Kidnapping a foreign national for the purpose of detaining and interrogating him outside the law is contrary to American values," said Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director of the ACLU.
Hey, Romero, you’re kidding, right? It’s contrary to American values? Is it contrary to Americans staying alive?
What assholes … which is a better use of the letter “A” in ACLU.
