MAY I HAVE A SIDE OF DISTORTIONS WITH BREAKFAST?

How does the press distort news? Here’re two examples. The first is a Chicago Tribune headline that Google News also opted to use.

“U.S. paints al-Zarqawi successor as outsider to Iraq.” US paints?

Uh, helloooo. The Wog they’re speaking about IS an outsider. He’s Egyptian. Hmmm, perhaps they were just trying to tell us the truth?

Then from Reuters: “Mosque bomber defies Baghdad crackdown, kills 10.”

Here’s yet another illiterate religious fanatic who decided to self-explode and take a bunch of church goers with him. You think breaking a curfew was a major consideration? Maybe he went into the mosque to avoid breaking the curfew.

And the gullible out there continue to lap up this crap.

And a late addition to this item: The NYT is running an article today about President Bush apologizing to an LAT reporter for making jokes about his wearing sunglasses because the reporter wears them for "health reasons." THAT'S news? In the "too-too" NYT? Kiss my ass. Probably wears them so the other reporters can't tell he's copying their notes.

God all mighty ... ever seen the T-shirt. "Noose. Journalist. Assembly Required." ? How apropos!
