My prayers go out to the families of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, Texas and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, OR, and Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, MA.
The bodies of Menchaca and Tucker were found yesterday and recovered today. Babineau died at a checkpoint south of Baghdad on the Euphrates River. All were from 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne. Tucker and Menchaca were captured last week when Babineau was killed.
Again … my prayers for their families.
If the leadership in this country had any gumption, now would be time to let this war get bloody — and damn anyone — a-n-y-o-n-e — who gets in the way.
