Let’ take some givens of Neo-lib philosophy.
•George Bush (father or son) is/are the anti-Christ.
•There never were, and would never have been, weapons capable of inflicting huge casualties on anybody, being manufactured in Iraq.
•Saddam Hussein never did anything to promote, support or spread terrorist activity.
•All Islamic Facists really don’t want us dead; it’s just a euphemism they use.
•Having a war in Iraq doesn’t pre-occupy Islamic terrorists.
•Having a war in Iraq doesn’t kill massive amounts of would-be, wannabe, are and were terrorists.
•Having a war in Afghanistan is … well, we don’t talk about Afghanistan, only Iraq.
•In all likelihood 9/11 wasn’t as bad as we thought it was the day it happened since they only killed 2,973 innocent people.
•President Clinton wasn’t too preoccupied with his, er, domestic troubles, to have paid attention to nascent terrorist activity.
•President Clinton was a great leader.
•We’re “for” the military but “against” what they do.
I — obviously — could go on. And on. And … but …
Explain this: How come we haven’t been attacked — and not for lack of trying — since September 11, 2001? (or as my wife so eloquently put it: "Whose afraid of a Democrat president?")
I’ll listen to ANY rational answer.
