To those morons out there who actually believe in "alternate" power, etc., and actually think that anything they propose or have accomplished has done anything but assist in the ruination of our economy, while having absolutely no affect on the spurious spectre of global warming, may I please introduce you to a truly "green" engine.
This engine powers the 2009 Formula 1 Mercedes-McLaren. It is a 90-degree V-8, "limited" by F-1 rules to 18,000 rpm, runs on Mobil 1 synthetic oil and ...get this ... weighs 95 kgs (that's around 200 pounds)!
Let's talk GREEN baby!!!!!!!
