STATE OF THE UNION

Well, as speeches go, it was well delivered. Empty of substance, but well delivered and promising everyone the world.

As State of the Union rebuttals go ... why the hell has the Republican Party been hiding Governor Bobby Jindal? That boy should be our NEXT president.

I'm sorry. I hope President Obama is able to pull this off. But going into debt and spending money on health, education and energy, ain't gonna cut it. Fixing the education and health systems is fine ... and continuing the development of alternate energy (y'know, wind and solar are great, but what about the cleanest and most powerful alternate fuel source ... and one that is actually proven: nuclear?) is fine ... but none of them address the current problems. Nor does ensuring that NO one pays taxes unless they're not successful.

Typical socialist clap trap.

Ah, well. We shall — unfortunately — see.

Watch the Street tomorrow.

The last bunch of times the President or his cabinet dolittles have spoken with "good" news, the market (which couldn't possibly know anything about economics) has tanked.
