Apparently the lessons of history aren't a topic that carry much weight in the White House, to wit: the President's overture to Iran on becoming a peaceful nation.
The last time this Carterian diplomacy was applied we ended up the laughingstock of the world. The only consolation was that it was the death knell for that administration, sparing us from anymore Democratic "successes." I can only hope that this harbinger has the same results this time around.
Nothing like proffering 21st century sophistical arguments to 5th century kill-the-crusaders befuddled intellects. It's truly amazing how far some of these "islamic" republics have fallen insofar as civilization is concerned ... but President Barry is gonna' keep on talking to them, as if they're Jay Leno with beards.
