Someone tried to take out that little rock troll, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Wednesday, according to a Reuters report.
He survived an attack with a homemade explosive device on his motorcade as he was traveling from the city of Hamadan's airport to give a speech in a local sports arena.
Like most good dictators, he “was unharmed” but “others were injured” and — naturally — a "suspect is in custody."
These Third World law enforcement people make CSI look like the Keystone Kop. They're just ALWAYS so good at grabbing perps.
UPDATE: According to the Iranians it was "just fireworks," not an assassination attempt. Uh-huh.
