PESKY FACTS ON GLOBAL WARMING BY NASA

Now that a our genius of a President has struck a deal with the government owned auto industry (and, yes, the non-government owned) to raise the average MPG of cars to some ridiculous number (near 55 mpg) by 2025, and thereby costing YOU, THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER, a zillion more dollars to buy a car, comes this.

"Has a central tenant of global warming just collapsed?
"Climate change forecasts have for years predicted that carbon dioxide would trap heat on Earth, and increases in the gas would lead to a planetwide rise in temperatures, with devastating consequences for the environment.
"But long-term data from NASA satellites seems to contradict the predictions dramatically, according to a new study.
“There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans,” said Dr. Roy Spencer, a research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. science team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer -- basically a big thermometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite.
"The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show,” he said. The planet isn't heating up, in other words."

HERE WE GO AGAIN

The NOAA just announced that the first decade of 2000 was the warmest on record, and that global warming was a "fact."

Please note the chart above. It may be a fact but it doesn't mean diddly-squat as to what's causing it, so put that Cap-and-Trade crap on hold until you CAN prove what's causing it.

Could it possibly be ... heart be still ... normal global warming?

Nuke the bastards for Chrissakes! What the hell are the Israelis waiting for?

The UN and most of the rest of Europe has tsk-tsked the Swiss for banning the construction of minarets. As the rest of the Euro-spending populace learns to speak Arabic — not unlike they almost had to learn to speak German a couple of times before in the last century— who the f--k cares what the increasingly irrelevant (to put it mildly) and ever-so-corrupt UN has to say? Go Switzerland!

Watched some of the New Orleans Saints vs New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. It was nice to watch a game without having any emotion invested. New England looked good, but man …those Saints are the real deal. If you blinked you missed a touchdown.

THE SKY IS FALLING

It's amazing how nature works. While the Chicken Little crowd is intent on starving (via "environmental" taxation) America, pesky ol' Planet Earth just won't cooperate with the global warming theorists/conspiracists.

To wit, an AP report in Minneapolis Star Tribune:

"Argentina's Perito Moreno glacier is one of only a few ice fields worldwide that have withstood rising global temperatures.

"Nourished by Andean snowmelt, the glacier constantly grows even as it spawns icebergs the size of apartment buildings into a frigid lake, maintaining a nearly perfect equilibrium since measurements began more than a century ago."
