Those good ol' pricks at the new york times are at it again.
This time they (along with the administration ass who leaked it) leaked a memo about interrogation techniques, which "provided explicit authorization to barrage terror suspects with a combination of painful physical and psychological tactics, including head-slapping, simulated drowning and frigid temperatures."
And?
Well, naturally, being it's an election year, every mutt in the world will jump on the band wagon now and demand that terrorist suspects be treated fairly.
Sort of like how they treat our folks who have the misfortune to be caught.
Look it. Anyone who knows anything about persuasion knows that torture has a specific use(and believe me, I don't consider that crap torture. They did that to us in training during E&E courses if we were stupid enough to get caught).
If the info required is time sensitive, sometimes you have to stretch the borders of decency, but that's how things work in combat condition. C'est la guerre, as they say in The Legion.
Get used to it, and quit crying. It's about saving soldiers, not someone getting their rocks off.
